I apologize for taking so long to answer your comment. It's partially because I've been ill, but it's also because I've been so overwhelmed by your comment that answering it has been a challenge.
This is why I write. Not just fan-fiction, but why I write, period. Because I have a story in me with something that I'm trying to communicate, to show the people I see in my mind, the situations they are in, what they are feeling... and I hope like hell when I'm done that the communication is working, that it came across and you're seeing/feeling what I'm seeing/feeling, too.
When I read your comment, it made me feel that I had succeeded beyond my wildest dreams on this story, and I cried. And I thank you for sharing this with me. Thank you for telling me. You make me want to keep writing.
