Oh, just exquisitely well done. This is something I'd never considered before - the though hadn't ever entered my head, but now that I've read this I have that overwhelming feeling of 'well, of course it happened that way!' I really love that feeling, too - when a story ticks the right boxes or rings the right bells. It just fits, exactly as it's meant to. And I love the staff at King's Cross - about bloody time indeed!
