This is a lovely piece, and achingly true to how so many of us have felt upon losing our fathers -- spell damaged or not -- at least I thought so. I share Neville's lack of religious beliefs, but I think that it doesn't keep us from feeling peace and comfort from our friends and families when our loved ones leave us.
I enjoyed Neville and Hannah's loving relationship very much, and Neville's musings on Harry and his school years with Harry, too. Plus, "Mr. Tambourine Man" has been my all-time favorite song for about 40 years, so I was super excited to read this. Nice work.
