It's not usually quite this impressive. There just so happens to be a gen fic fest posting right now, so there was a surge of new gen fic for April.
One of the reasons that I post this digest monthly, rather than weekly or every other week is that usually it takes a month just to accumulate enough gen fic to make it worth posting a digest, so I was very happy to be able to put out such a large list this month:)
