Oh, wow. That was really beautiful. I love that it went in reverse, in broken pieces. It was a beautiful reflection of her fragmented state of mind. The part after the rape, when her father could not touch her and then came back smelling like death...that broke my heart into a thousand little pieces. And everything with Albus and Aberforth, at the beginning with her telling Aberforth that they need him. I loved the writing, and these two lines were my favorites:

No fear, only forgiveness, fragile as ash in her palm.

and There is comfort in looking back, after a lifetime of looking forward. And there is pleasure in silence. After years of shouting with nobody to hear, she can now listen patiently to the stories that other people tell.

Those lines, along with dozens of others, made me stop just so that I could read them again. Lovely, lovely work. I'm going to rec this to other gen fic lovers. :)
