Thanks! That quote was a paraphrase of what Hermione said to Harry when she met him on the train:) I thought it would be a funny and sweet way to illustrate how Hermione has evolved through the years and through her friendship with Harry and Ron:)

Yeah, I know, that's why I liked it. :) I just finished reading the first book again, so I like all of these fics that remember their first year, which defined so much of what came after.
